EBID Whistleblower Protection & Investigation Policy

EBID encourages staff, partners, and stakeholders to report acts of fraud, corruption, or misconduct in confidence. Reports are handled by the Ethics Committee and Compliance Department, which ensure thorough, impartial, and confidential investigations. The Bank strictly prohibits retaliation or discrimination against whistleblowers and provides protective measures to safeguard their safety and identity.

If misconduct is confirmed, appropriate disciplinary actions are taken, including transfers or sanctions. The policy also covers protection for external parties who assist in investigations and guarantees confidentiality to prevent reprisals. EBID’s goal is to promote transparency and accountability by providing a secure environment for reporting concerns without fear of retaliation.
