Komlan ADJVON is a seasoned development finance and risk management executive with over 20 years of experience driving institutional transformation and sustainable investment across Africa and Europe.

He has played a central role in shaping the Bank’s risk architecture for more than ten years. 

Before joining EBID, he held senior leadership roles at PwC France, where he built and led the quantitative finance and insurance advisory practice for Francophone Africa, and at AXA Group, where he served as senior manager. Earlier in his career, he served as Head of ALM for Europe at BNP Paribas Cardif, managing a large multi-country insurance and pension portfolio and representing the group in industry-wide regulatory forums.

A graduate of the London School of Economics — where he earned a Master of Public Administration specializing in Global Market Economics and Development Economics — he also holds an MSc in Mathematical Methods in Economics from the University of Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne.
