
Dr Francis G. EZIN
Director of administration and general services department
Mr Francis G. Ezin assumed duties at the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) in July 2017 as Director of the Department of Administration and General Services.
Mr Francis G. Ezin is both Human Resource Management specialist, legal and financial expert. He is a Human Resource Manager certified by the International Academy of Business and Financial Management. He holds an Advanced Certificate in Business Law from the National University of Benin. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Catholic University, Lille, France, after obtaining a combined honours Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Private Law, a Higher National Diploma equivalent (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur BTS) in Banking and Baccalaureate in Literature – Philosophy (Bacalaureate A1) in Accounts (Baccalaureate G2).
After having been certified as Manager from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris (HEC Paris), he successfully earned professional certificates in General Management (PMG) and, CESA in Management of Banking Operations.
With longstanding experience in management, he has held several managerial positions in the Ecobank Group where, over a period of eighteen years, he was, notably, Deputy Director of Human Resources, later, Director of Human Resources of Ecobank Benin, Director of Human Resources of Ecobank Togo where he put in place and coached the local team in Human Resource Management, Deputy Director, and later, Director of Human Resources in charge of partnership with the retail banking staff of the Ecobank Group (Group Human Resources Business Manager, Domestic Banking). An expert in Human Resource, for several years, he was member of the Ecobank Group team responsible for evaluation and audit of the project for acquisition of banks within the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU). He participated at the negotiations with the labour unions, on behalf of the Employers of the Beninese banking sector, and contributed to drafting of the Collective Convention of Banks and Financial Establishments of Benin, in December 2010. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the West African Monetary Union Pay-as you go Pension Scheme (CRRAE-UMOA).
An adult trainer in work place, Mr Francis G. Ezin has facilitated several training sessions in the banking sector in Benin, notably in Management and corporate law.
