Folorunsho Emmanuel Orimoloye is a senior technology and digital transformation executive with over 25 years of distinguished experience at the intersection of technology leadership, digital transformation, and transaction banking. He brings a rare combination of strategic depth and hands‑on delivery expertise, with a proven track record of translating complex transformation initiatives into measurable institutional outcomes.

Since assuming office, Mr. Orimoloye has established a board-approved Change Management framework for Technology Governance and defined and launched the institution’s Digital Transformation agenda.

Before joining EBID, Mr. Orimoloye served as Group Chief Technology Officer at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated and its technology subsidiary, eProcess International, the technology backbone supporting Ecobank’s operations across 33 African countries and France. In this role, he oversaw enterprise-wide technology strategy, infrastructure, and investment across front‑-, middle‑-, and back-office functions for the banking group with USD 26.6 billion in assets, USD 1.53 billion in annual revenue, and approximately 15,500 employees operating across 671 branches and over 110,000 agent locations. He provided strategic leadership to a high‑performing team of approximately 140 technology professionals and delivered multiple landmark transformation initiatives.

A seasoned leader in pan‑African digital banking, he previously headed eProcess Nigeria and the Ecobank Group Software Center, leading the delivery of ETI Remittance Platform – Rapid Transfer, over 300 enterprise integrations, and the rollout of web, mobile, and USSD banking platforms across 33 countries, raising the share of digital transactions to 82 percent. Earlier in his career, he led the transformation of Union Bank’s technology and distribution network for alternative channels. He held senior technology leadership roles at Access Bank and Ecobank Nigeria. He made nationally significant contributions to Nigeria’s banking ecosystem, including the BVN biometric identity system and the migration to EMV payment standards.

Mr. Orimoloye holds a Certificate in Data Science and Machine Learning from the MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (MIT-IDSS). He has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and McKinsey. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Lagos, a Certificate in Advanced Project Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA), and a Master of Business Administration from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of North Dakota, USA.
