EBID’s Internship Policy

At the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development, EBID, we are committed to the development and growth of young talents, and we seek to present them the opportunities to acquire the required experience to enable them achieve their aspirations and goals whiles promoting the mission of the Bank.

Eligibility

Internships at EBID are open to Undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in accredited institutions, recent graduates who have completed their academic programmes within the past 12 months, Individuals seeking career transitions and interested in gaining experience in development banking and have the above eligibility requirements.

Duration

Internship durations typically range from any period from one-month up to a maximum of six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organisational needs.

Application Process

Interested candidates must submit the following documents as part of their application Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV), Cover Letter detailing their interest in the internship and relevant qualifications, Academic transcripts (for students), Two professional or academic references. Candidates who meet the initial criteria may be invited for an interview or assessment as part of the selection process.

Confidentiality and Ethics

Interns are expected to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical behaviour during their internship. They may be required to sign confidentiality agreements.
