Organization and Management
In line with the Articles of Association of EBID, the decision-making bodies of the Bank are:
Board of Governors
which is the highest decision-making body. It has broad powers regarding control, management, operations and the administration of the Bank. The substantive members of the Board of Governors are Ministers of Finance of ECOWAS Member States.
Board of Directors
comprises ten (10) members including the President of the Bank who is also the Chairman of the Board.
The President of EBID is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Bank. He is assisted by two Vice-Presidents. One is in charge of Finance and Corporate Services and the other in charge of Operations.
